Facebook Monitors Your Chats for Criminal Activity [REPORT]
Sergey Zelvenskiy stashed this in politics

“We’ve never wanted to set up an environment where we have employees looking at private communications, so it’s really important that we use technology that has a very low false-positive rate.”
Now that is creepy.... I do not think it's normal to look into private chats and notify the police....
How is it not a big brother?!
Why then we can't listen what people talk about in their bedrooms?
Don't worry, mam, in case you did not know, this fire alarm also have a tiny camera and mic.
It's good for you because we caught a sexual predator before with this technology.
We will not bother you unless our computers with very low false-positive rate will identify you as criminal.
It IS creepy.
Facebook seems intent to keep pushing people until they get fed up with it and leave.
Yesterday I saw a new feature that lets anyone see who has read a Facebook Group posting.
I will never ever use Facebook Groups again.
I already expose everything I write, but Facebook won't be happy until they expose everything I read.
It's terrible. Not sure what they're thinking...
They're thinking the don't want any criminal activity happening through Facebook.
