This seems trivial but smart people make the mistake all the time, not realizing the hormetic effect: critics will now have the stimulating challenge to find something else.

This is a good indicator of freedom. It’s also a way to quickly distinguish between friends, enemies, and empty suits.
Criticism helps you figure out what you truly believe.
