I don't associate benevolence and empathy with the Satanic Temple.

Seriously, we are bombed by these images all the time and never recognize the history or impact (or non impact).  Do you see what is arising from Baphomet's groin in the statue? 

The army adopted this in 1902, and was then used by American medical establishment. (Originally the symbol for commerce. )
