Last week, Quartz published a visualization of the world's biggest coffee drinkers; now it'stime to fort tea. Stereotypes might suggest the UK would come top, but that's not quite right. In fact, Turkey is the biggest tea-swilling nation, demolishing a monstrous 6.961 pounds of the stuff every year. Trailing behind are Ireland, consuming 4.831, and the UK, who put back 4.281. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the US consumes just 0.5 pounds.
