2014 Sochi Men's Ice Hockey Tournament: Medal Round
Adam Rifkin stashed this in Hockey
Stashed in: Olympics!
Underrated storyline: first round matchup between the former Czechoslovakia.
Also, we're a few a few lucky breaks from having an insanely epic Semifinals Rounds: Sweden vs. Finland and Canada vs. USA in a DOUBLE REMATCH ROUND from the '06 and '10 Gold Medal Games... Sorry, Russia.
This is some pretty stressful hockey. There are 5 teams (Russia, Canada, USA, Sweden, Finland) imo that all have a decent shot. Every game from now on is sudden death and there aren't going to be any easy wins. And I can't imagine the pressure the Russians are under to win. A lot of people want to see Russia beat USA in the finals.
