I am not sure if this kind of gaming is the future....I can see more something like screens set up in a room a la kinect rather than something you put on your head. JUst something about not having the peripheral vision and complete visual immersion for hours with lack of outside awareness goes against human nature.

BTW if all these industry heavy hitters are behind this, why do they need a Kickstarter?

To raise funds, recruit developers, and attract media attention.

So far, looks like that's working according to plan.

Actually, more and more teams are using Kickstarter as marketing, not fundraising.

And Tasha, I can see a future where both Kinect and Oculus are popular.

He's a 2-d video using an old theatre projection trick. :)
