interesting bts business info here... an oft overlooked area of such a public facing industry.
New Regency CEO Brad Weston is feeling his oats. Remember, New Regency took the risk of actually financing "12 Years a Slave," which was produced by Brad Pitt's Plan B and released by Fox Searchlight. This upset Paramount, which then lost Plan B to New Regency, which is housed at Twentieth Century Fox.
New Regency is going forward with David Michôd's "The Operators" as a Pitt starring vehicle, and now they've got Leonardo DiCaprio starring in Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu's next, "The Revenant."
Dare I ask what a Revenant is?
It's an animated corpse! Or a ghost! It terrorizes the living!!
Well, today I learned something new.
Now I wonder if Leo will play the RevenantOR or the RevenantEE.
Oooo, good point! Either would be a juicy role.
Yeah. We'll have to see who he's cast against.
He is cast as the Fur Trapper who was robbed and left for dead, and who seeks vengeance. So technically he is both OR (for being the terrorist seeking vengeance) and EE (if they give justice to the Bears)
Wow, there's a plot twist I hadn't anticipated! Sweet.
