OMG, is this in reference to all their shows? not one in particular? If so, can those shows be named? ;)
Yeah, it's satirizing the fact that all of their shows do this.
Because they can. Going where network TV cannot follow. Network TV has been getting more edgy too though. At this point, having an attitude about porn is getting old anyway. #BreakTheInternet For too long, society has seen gross violence as normal and normal sex as gross. Violence isn't going away, which means that eventually sex had to come out to the extent that violence is made explicit. That's pretty explicit, so we're not done yet.
It's a combination of the Internet and a younger generation that is changing society's view of sex.
And marijuana, actually.
It's not just younger people, or at least not just chronologically young. Plenty of young at heart people are keeping up or even leading. Plenty of people in the past didn't agree with the status quo either. The Internetization of younger people is more pervasive, so we have reached various tipping points where it seems like we went from one extreme to the other. The tension was there all along. But society as a whole has learned many things since the 80's, and it has been changing faster. For instance, long gone are deliberately and laughably falsified government reports that porn is harmful, replaced by nearly everyone watching porn to some degree, usually frequently.
I agree with you.
Young is not an age, it's a mentality: Willing to learn new things.
I'm very enthused about the changes in society coming in the next 20 years.
cheers to that
