Who likes cinnamon rolls? It's just one of those desert type products everyone seems to love, but not exactly the best for you, right? As sweet as Cinnamon Rolls are, how could you possibly make a Healthy 100% Vegan Sweet Roll? We'll not only has entrepreneurs Florian and Shannon Radke, the owners of Cinnaholic Vegan Bakery perfected this idea, this new Franchise Opportunity made the final cut to appear on the next Shark Tank Episode 525.
It's always interesting learning how the contestants first conceived their ideas, and the path they took to ultimately land on the biggest business stage this world has ever seen. Florian and Shannon's story is one that makes you a believer some things are just meant to be. While meeting on a social site called CouchSurfing.com that brought them together, it was the Vegan Lifestyle that sealed the deal.
The success of the first Cinnaholic Store located at 2132 Oxford St. in Berkley, CA. has landed them a deal withAtlanta Franchise Group helping build this Brand into a National Franchise. The reviews on Trip Advisor are not only positive, they really make you want to stop in and see just how many ways there is to make the sweetest cinnamon rolls that are 100% Vegan using no dairy or egg products.
Did you know according to the Vegetarian Time's there's over 7 million vegetarians and growing by the day? Not only is this market growing, Vegan products have been one of the favorite food categories featured on the Shark Tank Show. With the success of Liz Lovely Cookies and Veggie Mama Garden Pops being popular with Shark Tank Fan, Cinnaholic Cinnamon Rolls will no doubt be very, very busy after their episode air's this Friday night.
Cinnaholic is right around the corner from me, it was a great surprise to see them on Shark Tank last night. Congrats Cinnaholic!
Hi Chris! I owe you an email.
And yes, their product looks delicious!!
Hey Adam! No worries... I have more, new thoughts, on the topic as well. I was going to ping you sometime in the near future about it all.
Cinnaholic: I found it interesting (totally awesome) that they banged out $260k in 1 year from their small shop here in Berkeley. I never would have thought that it could produce that much revenue for a new location... Super awesome to hear that!
You figure if they were open 5 days/week that's 260 days -- that's $1000 in revenue a day.
At $5 per cinnamon roll they're selling 200 a day on average. Not that hard to imagine.
True enough, nice break down. I'm sure it helps that they are right across the street from the Cal Berkeley campus, but you're right, 200/day sounds totally reasonable. If I recall correctly (need to re-watch their segment) they mentioned their net was only $50k. Sounds like margins are off but sales are good.
Bustle's article on Cinnaholic can be summed up a video of Mark Cuban dancing:
