The First Full-Length Interstellar Trailer Is Spectacular
Adam Rifkin stashed this in Christopher Nolan
Adam Clark Estes writes:
We've been excited about Christopher Nolan's new epic, Interstellar, for some time. But the arrival of a brand new trailer, revealing an emotional Matthew McConaughey preparing to save us Earthlings from imminent starvation, is still thrilling. It's like the Great Depression meets 2001: A Space Odyssey — in a good way.
Prequel to Daft Punk's 2003 epic Interstella 5555?
No way. Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" looks way, way better!
Movie looks really good, and it's a subject that I've always been interested in.
Which subject have you always been interested in?
The movie does look excellent.
"We must think not as individuals but as a species."
Finding a way to travel to other planets.
Oh, right. Some people predict a mission to Mars in our lifetime.
Elon Musk thinks it would be cool to die on Mars:
Cooler yet to live on Mars ;) lol
Haha, yes, I believe his plan is to live there before he dies there.
Yeah, Musk always says he "wants to die on Mars, just not on impact..."
That is very well said. He has a way with words.
this is a great thread! :) the movie looks awesome. i'm a little mcconaughey'ed out for now, but still...
The timing is good -- it comes out in November so we'll be missing him by then.
haha! i hope that's true!
It takes about 6 months to really start missing someone, I've found.
