In my opinion, ability to kick out the bad teachers is better for the education. I believe teachers need to be treated as respected high skilled workers. So they should be highly paid, highly respected and accountable for their actions. Unfortunately the "high paid" part is missing, but removing tenure is first steps towards accountability.
