89 year-old retired professor Don Miyada served in the Army during WWII, earned a PhD afterwards, and enjoyed a long and evidently full life. But one thing that he never managed to do is walk in his high school graduation -- because he was interned for his Japanese ancestry one month before he was to have graduated. Newport Harbor High School finally rectified an injustice after 72 years.
72 years is a long time for a person to wait for anything.
