I think it's widely accepted that Tucson has brought the bacon-wrapped weenie to the peak of perfection known as the Sonoran hot dog. What you might not know is how easy it is to make yourself! Awesome for parties.
The only thing this article does not emphasize enough is that you need a large supply of roasted (or grilled) medium-spicy chiles on the side. In Tucson they favor a local variety called the chile guëro (guëro = blonde), which looks to be something like a yellow jalapeño. A small pasilla would be OK too.
