Google has outspent Goldman Sachs on political campaigns this year, a sign of Silicon Valley's growing presence in Washington, according to a report by the Financial Times. The story said that Google's political action committee, NetPAC, has spent $1.43 million this year, edging out the $1.4 million spent by the investment bank.
