Blade the tortoise was in for an unexpected treat when his owner took him to the veterinarian in their home country of Germany.
The vet, Dr. Carsten Plischke, came up with a genius plan to help Blade regain movement after a growth disorder left him unable to hold up his own body.
Dr. Plischke attached a LEGO wheelchair to Blade:
The doctor actually used his son’s pieces on the pet tortoise.
At first, Blade was unimpressed:
But once he got moving, Blade was so happy:
