Katy said she wasn't interested in doing American Idol at any price.
So far the only American Idol judge for 2013 is Mariah Carey, who's getting paid $18 million and apparently is irked that AI would offer Katy $20 million.
Who will the other new judges be? It's anyone's guess...
Nick Jonas? Keith Urban? Nicki Minaj? Kanye West?
One word: Bieber.
This clinches it. American Idol / X Factor / The Voice is the new MTV.
