Angelique, I was wondering why they're spikey, too.
Looks like spikes and sparkles are in this year, if Pinterest is any indication.
Example is these Christian Louboutin Very Mix 150mm Strass Peep Toe Pumps in Red.
Do they come in flats? I like my sparkly-spikey things sensible.

I bet Louboutin considers sparkly spikey flats to be sneakers. :)
