It's a tad early for me to say anything nobody hasn't already said :) I think I should wait until I have it in my hands before forming an opinion!
Let me be more specific: Will you try one in 2015, or wait a year before trying it?
Ah. Yes I will probably get one. The early app developers of the iPhone did well, betting on a new platform. $350 is a small price to pay to live and breathe on a new platform to discover what kind of new use cases and startup opportunities that may arise from it.
Cool, that's what I wanted to know.
If more people think like you, this product will have the momentum to become much bigger.
Network effects are a competitive advantage / defensible barrier to entry for certain use cases, so waiting around for a more stable version 2 may be too late.
To use two cases from recent history, a developer did not lose much waiting for the second year of iPhone or iPad before starting to develop applications.
A lot stabilized on those platforms in the first year.
For what it's worth.
