What if ancient humans were so technologically advanced and so "green" that they were able to build all of their stuff out of super biodegradable materials, so that landfills disappeared completely within a few hundred years? All their technology would be gone by now and the only evidence of their existence would be a few things made of stone. So maybe they did have smart tablets, and the stone ones we've found were just things some kids made in art class.
Woah dude!
