2014 Rio Open:
A netizen posted pictures of one girl during the tournament’s final match between Spaniard Rafael Nadal and Alexandr Dolgopolov from Ukraine. The girl neither tracked down balls nor provided towels to players. She just stood next to players and did “nothing.”
While the players and the ball girls appeared to seldom share words, one picture caught Nadal “breaking down” the silence wall and initiating a conversation to a girl next to him, shoving his index finger up in air holding a towel.
