The partners at Union Square Ventures, a very successful early-round VC in NYC -- not to put too fine a point on it, but WINNER CAPITALISTS, not dirty hippehs -- are coming out strong in favor of a true shift to the gig economy FOR ALL. This means we all need two things: a guaranteed basic income, and the right to be represented by a bot in private marketplaces (currently apps like Uber or Etsy).
