I'm tl;dr'ing this tl;dr of Joel's pricing article:
1. Charge early to validate your value prop.
2. Early adopters understand if your product isn't perfect. Charge anyway.
3. Price is not set in stone. Adjust price as you learn.
4. Never screw existing customers, and no one will resent your changing prices.
