Those of you who grew up entirely in the post-suit era don't seem to remember that successful people -- meaning successful men -- have chosen to wear the same thing every day since there were dark suits. Plus, have you ever seen a photo of a fashion designer? Every last one of them wears nothing but dark pants and dark T-shirt.

I mentioned on that page that superheroes always wear the same outfit too.

Which makes sense. One less decision to get decision fatigue from. 

Edith Head won eight Academy Awards for Best Fashion Design, out of 35 nominations. She said that she always wore black to not distract from her designs.

Plus black is beautiful. I wear it whenever I can. Good to know I'm not alone in that.
