Drones are better at counting birds in the wild than people are, partly because they are much more unobtrusive from the air.
That is, if they can keep the birds from attacking them.
Drones and birds aren’t always the best of friends. The internet is rich with videographic evidence of hawks and eagles attacking drones, tearing the unmanned aerial intruders out of the sky.
