I loved this transcript (you can listen to the podcast instead if that's your thing) between the social psychologist Jonathan Haidt -- who has recently been very active in critiquing what is often called political correctness on college campuses -- and the libertarian economist Tyler Cowen. Haidt in particular explains a lot about how the atmosphere on campus changed from a basically collegial "marketplace of ideas" model to a "victims and microaggressions" model. Funnily enough his insight is that it all comes down to the (mis)use of power, which is as Foucault as it gets!

Campuses these days sound like they are not conducive to learning.
