Awesome. Again, I think it's generational. I don't think millenials care, but I am CERTAIN that no matter what older folks try to say, it's hard for them to overcome their cognitive biases. I think as different grassroot organizations rise, more venture firms hire female partners, and more women get into math and science from middle through high school and beyond, this will average out.
Still though, it seems that in most SV startups, the engineers are overwhelmingly male, and the sales/support/HR are overwhelmingly female -- but perhaps this is anecdotal and not empirical.
