A very good idea indeed; in his interview with the Des Moines Register, President Obama promised to open up 2 million new slots for students to enter into community college. Hopefully, if elected, some of those funds go into sponsoring programs like this -- having worked with inner city youth, much, much, much, MUCH easier for this program to succeed, than for to hope for young women and men to successfully transition from high school to college, especially when they are usually woefully underprepared.
education and job training for something useful...go figure
It feels like the future to me.
