I wonder if Joyce's article explains why pro football doesn't seem to work in LA, too.
The best pro football teams are team-first. Star mentality doesn't play well.
Then again, I can make the counter-argument that Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and even Aaron Rodgers are stars. And that would seem to work well in LA.
