Let's remember that 3D printed dresses were pioneered in 2011-12, by Dutch designer Iris van Herpens (at least, that i can remember having a significant debut on the scene) - Instantly iconic for the complex math involved (3D printing has merely furthered the practice of using physically models to understand mathematical shapes that previously could not be visualized).
Hiroshi Sugimoto's "Mathematical Forms"(beautiful photographs if you appreciate Minimalism)
"Art is possible even without artistic intention."
