TEHRAN, Iran — Iran is planning to sue Hollywood over the Oscar-winning "Argo" because of the movie's allegedly "unrealistic portrayal" of the country, Iranian media reported Tuesday.

Do you think they have a case? Or will this just be to make a point?

well imagine if spielberg never see your house and yet he make a movie about how dirty your house is, I think in some point it makes senses

I've been noticing this more and more out of third world countries, trying to use lawsuits as a form of oppression... and I think it's a good thing.  If oppressive elements in society at least go through the motions, when they didn't even bother to do so before, it's at least a step in the right direction.  It's a sham now, but eventually those judges will start to show some independence...

Lawsuits seem more civilized than other weapons. But lawsuits still seem like a form of warfare.
