And yet people seem to have no problem with Siri.
Some people think Siri is sexy.
I am seriously a fan of Dr Christoph Bartneck's work in Human-Robot Interaction and his consideration of broader cultural ramifications. The 'somewhat alive' new ontology for robots developed by Peter Khan and Hiroshi Ishiguro is the new gold standard and suggests many interesting affordances we should make in our human-technology relations.
I love that phrase, "somewhat alive".
