Good stuff here. Can't go wrong with a list that includes stuff from "The Little Prince" to "Logan's Run".
Funny, I never considered "The Little Prince" to be SciFi.
To be honest neither did I. This particular list is included in the section for very young kids however, and it does have asteroids and aliens.
That's a good point. We just won't tell the kid about the fox and the rose in the story, which are distinctively not sci-fi.
