This 64 square foot house is grown from mycelium, a type of fungus!

1. Love it on geek cred

2. totally grossed out b/c I hate fungus

3. even more grossed out b/c there seems to be nothing stopping fungal growth. i.e what happens when it rains or some kid spills something?  I'd be more comfortable with preformed 4x8 sheets with the fungus baked or radiated dead.

Two years later I'm still intrigued by the idea of a living home.
