Basically the NSA is doing everything you think they're doing, and then some.

And America doesn't seem to care.

What will it take to outrage US citizens?

I believe a percentage of people are starting to wake up ... the more awareness we bring to this issue more people will start to pay attention.  

I wonder why it's taking people so long to realize.
