An amazing sculpture is made by pouring molten aluminum into a fire ant colony.
The resulting cast is huge, weighing 17.9 lbs. and reaching a depth of 18 inches.

Hahaha! Raspberry ants DO sound delicious! Even crazy ones! But fire ants are awful. I think making cast aluminum sculptures out of their amazing underground structures is a beautiful way to both admire and exterminate them!

So cool! I just love animals... except fire ants. I'd happily see those little bastards eradicated! And the sculptures are amazing! I love how well-balanced they are. I think this guy has stumbled upon the perfect solution! It's fiery, artful, and even reverent. Bravo!
