Wins bronze... Is happy. :)

Bronze medal winners are happy to win SOMETHING whereas Silver medalists are unhappy to have missed the gold.

i really like this point.  it's so true—so human—and yet so sad that we can't embrace second place.  how interesting that third place takes a new perspective.

Eric Barker says this "miserable with second place but happy with third place" attitude is real!

it makes sense.  and what a lesson for us all.  winning is winning!  don't be hard on yourself!!

That's challenging because the competition makes us compare ourselves to others. 

Btw out of 46 U.S. gold medals in London 2012, 29 were won by women.

aw yeah... whoop!  whoop!  you go, girls!!

The U.S. women really performed well in London 2012.
