South Park Studios, the production company responsible for the show, released a teaser for Wednesday’s show, and it has Eric Cartman broadcasting and making videos about games. This is obviously a parody of the thousands of people who make videos on YouTube and livestream gameplay to sites like Twitch. Cartman even mocks the most famous In August, Internet retail giant Amazon acquired the top game-livestreaming site Twitch for $970 million.

The short clips features many things that are common to gameplay livestreamer’s videos. This includes quick jumpcuts, gigantic headphones, and a microphone taking up a big part of the frame.
“Today, I’m going to comment on Call of Duty,” Cartman says in the clip. “More specifically, I’m going to comment on my friends commenting on Call of Duty.”
PewDiePie is famous for playing games on YouTube while screaming. He has turned that into a multimillion-dollar business. He has more subscribers than anyone else on YouTube, and he is especially popular with children.
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are big nerds who have regularly referenced gaming throughout the shows many season, and I can’t wait to see what they have to say about this.
