As we as a culture are undergoing a radical revision of our relationship to THINGS -- how we make them, look at them, get to use them, share them with others, remember them -- Cooper Hewitt bravely steps forward with a rethink of what a "museum of things" might be. My favorite insight here is the one about URLs and why permanent resource addressing is so important... lot of devs have forgotten this recently to the detriment of all.
The Internet of Things begins with every thing getting a permanent resource address.
I love the conceptualization of this museum as a thing that puts things on the Internet.
