This engineer is so matter-of-fact in her retelling of the story -- including the fact that she had to explain to her manager that it's in fact ILLEGAL to punish employees for exposing pay data -- and so many people were evidently involved, it's hard not to believe her. Plus she doesn't seem to have any one overarching thesis ("all the women made less"), her project seemed to be more about sharing as much data as possible.
Yeah I think she's courageous for doing this so matter of factly. Reminds me of Tracy Chou.
My big question is why isn't there more outrage over Google's women systematically being paid less?
