Ina Garten Does It Herself
Joyce Park stashed this in Food
I always tell young people that the people who become engineers in software startups -- what we now call the makers -- are the ones who get satisfaction from making things WITH THEIR OWN HANDS. (Product managers get satisfaction from extending their reach beyond what they can do themselves, marketing loves to introduce people to new products and ideas, and sales measures with dollars.) By that standard, Ina Garten is a maker supreme.
ps I would say this article is less than perfection because it is so evident that the author, Choire Sicha, is not a cook. He never mentions Ina Garten's use of BUTTER!!!
Oh in case this is not clear so far... INA GARTEN IS MY HERO
Did Ina Garten's love of butter come from Julia Child or did she develop it on her own?
