He truly is the best Hulk. I would love to see a full Ruffalo Hulk movie.

Ruffalo's Banner does give the audience empathy. He does have fun, even though he is cursed with infinite life.

Perhaps it's because he's a great actor. Or perhaps it was the combination of that and Whedon's writing.
