Worse, your favorite song will probably be determined by what you listen to in high school or college. Thank goodness I didn't grow up in the early 2000s bubblegum/boy band era.

Every era invents its own boy bands.

The 80s had New Edition and New Kids on the Block.

The 90s had Bell Biv Devoe and the Funky Bunch.

Then came NSync and the Backstreet Boys.

These days it's Justin Bieber and One Direction.

Years will come and go, but boy bands are an invariant...

Not to mention Boyz II Men, Color Me Badd, All4One, etc.
