"This article has good advice for differentiating between orthodoxy (in any domain) and innovation (one of many possible future models/universes).
What's needed are better tools for 'diff' (analysis) and 'merge' (marketing/learning) between models/universes separated by time, hypothesis, space, law, culture, technology, cognition, language, etc.
