Reducing the negative is always good but research shows you'll be happier if you spend more time focusing on increasing the positive.
More marriages break up due to a lack of positive than an overdose of negative. In fact, how a couple celebrates may be more important that how they fight.
Funny, I didn't read this as "reduce negative" but rather as "increase positive".
Which means you've directly changed the way I think about things like this.
The principle of inclusion says to include the positive.
