Hockey legend Stan Mikita has suffered a steep decline and has complete dementia now. His family says it's impossible to know whether it has anything to do with CTE, especially since Mikita had a brain aneurysm in 1999 and head radiation in 2010 to treat tongue cancer.
Yeah, he could have developed dementia on his own rather than it being the result of hockey injuries, his aneurysm, or cancer. Very sad.
