All of my friends who shoot are responsible and safety conscious... but we all know about That Idiot with Guns. It seems like perhaps the newspaper here is blowing up one death into a major conflict when it doesn't have to... but it does raise the question of how to share outdoor recreation areas when one group has the ability to accidentally kill, often undetected.

It's a good question to ask: how to keep That Idiot with Guns from ruining it for everyone.
