How can you stop e-mail from taking over your life? - Barking up the wrong tree
Eric Barker stashed this in Productivity
"In 2007, 35 trillion messages shot back and forth between the world's 1 billion PC's; in the time it took you to read this point, some 300 million e-mails were sent and received."
Great post. Two comments.
1. Batching is great but don't do it 3 times a day. Once or twice tops.
2. Email bankruptcy -- it's not necessary to mail everyone to say you're doing it. Just do it, archive everything, and move on.
