Hahahaha, we can say she is ready to be a gringa. There is a funny thing about Rio, that gringos don't get. We never leave the beach wearing only bikinis (or speedos, for guys) but somehow gringos seems to be fine with that and do it all the time. My boyfriend (gringo), for example, thinks he can go anywhere in flip flops, hahahahah. Well, no, you can't :)
Mostly you can use in every informal occasion, but he insists that as he is in Rio, he can go out everywhere: like parties, meeting my friends at night etc.
