Pixar's "Inside Out" Looks Magnificent
Geege Schuman stashed this in Pixar
Stashed in: Emotion, Pixar, Amy Poehler, Disney, Inside Out, @mindykaling, Bill Hader
Here you can see two of the emotions guiding Riley’s mind: Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Fear (Bill Hader).
The others are Anger (Lewis Black), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), and Joy (Amy Poehler).
According to the description, “The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life.”
dis gon b gud!
I think so too but why is only ONE of the emotions positive (Joy)?
Where are Confidence, Compassion, and Courage?
Those would have been good emotions to characterize (literally) and I don't why they weren't included.
I wonder if the negative feels are more difficult for children to identify.
Perhaps. And perhaps Confidence, Compassion, and Courage aren't actually emotions.
I wonder if Curiosity is an emotion.
I think it's more of a personality factor.
I am thinking of all the personality tests we take for our jobs and wondering if "variety seeking" is a subset of curiousity or one of the behaviors that indicate it.
What other behaviors does a curious person have?
A curious person asks a lot of questions. :)
Whereas a curious cat just wanders into situations.
Cats ask with their paws and occasionally with their entire bodies ("will I fit in this?")
I actually liked the teaser trailer that was previewed before Big Hero 6:
