Dr Devi from the NYU School of Medicine says the phosphoric acid of diet soda weakens your teeth.

After 20 minutes the artificial sweetness tricks your body and spikes your blood sugar releasing insulin thanks to the gut bacteria, which increases the body storing fat.

After 40 minutes there's a dopamine release, which can create an addictive cycle.

After 60 minutes the salt bloats you and makes you want to drink more.
